投資銀行部門を志望する理由は4つあります。1つ目は自分が最も成長できると感じたからです。M＆Aの提案を考える中で、理論と実際を行き来しながらバリュエーションや資金調達などの緻密化を少数のチームの中で行うのは大きな責任とプレッシャーを感じる作業であり、そのようなチャレンジングな環境でアウトプットを出していくことが成長につながると考えました。2つ目は業務内容です。投資銀行部門の業務は多岐にわたるため毎日異なる仕事をすることができます。そのように多様な仕事をこなすということは毎日学びや気づきがあるということであり、そのことが私の好奇心を満たし、さらに仕事の向上心にもつながると感じました。3つ目は社会を大きく見渡せるからです。多様なだけでなく競争力の高い業界・企業の方との関わり合いや、執行においてもコンサルタントや会計士、弁護士の方などとの仕事を通じて様々な業界を知れるという点がファーストキャリアにおいて大きく社会全体を見たい私にとって魅力的でした。4つ目は貴社のダイバーシティを重視する社風に魅力を感じたからです。私が現在学ぶ大学院では他国からの留学生が多く在籍しており、多様な国籍、価値観、セクシャリティーを持つ人がいます。このような多様な背景を持つ学生と関わることで常に刺激を受けており、成長を感じます。よって職場を選ぶ上でも多様性を重視したいと考えています。

My advantage that I can perform well and achieve the goal even under huge pressure makes me a valid candidate for this position offered by Goldman Sachs. I worked as an intern at a startup company called Styler. I was responsible for advertising our business to small and medium shops, and I was working under huge pressure because of people's expectations. My team and I have had researched on the ratio of customers who visited the shops because they saw them on Styler application, and therefore signed contracts with many shops by showing them the convincing data from our researches. During my stay at Styler, number of registered small and medium shops increased by 4 times. I think working at an investment bank often comes with a big pressure. But I have the confidence to use such my advantage to work under pressure and perform well at Goldman Sachs.
